Thank you for stopping by Baby Huggables.com. My name is Sherri, I am a mother to five (5) children Pictured above is Anthony & myself, I call him "Guido". He has been my sole inspiration behind every single product I invent.
Like most mothers, I run a home, have worked in the corporate world and had my last baby in my early 40's. I didn't expect to invent products, but when my last little boy was born, it was not soon after learning to walk, that he learned quickly how to escape shoulder harness strap products, like the jogging stroller, high chair, portable high chair, etc, by sliding off the shoulder harness straps and either standing up, sliding out of, or slipping out of, leaning out of, or leaning forward. I also learned that being very busy and being a Houdini Baby came second nature to my son. After having prior children, I did not know what to do to limit the slips and falls & escapes. I tried searching for products that could help reduce this risk, but were unable to find anything on the market. This is why I invented Baby Huggables, and now the Houdini Band along with so many other products through my website. I wanted to deter my child from being able to escape out of shoulder harness straps, not punish, or become frustrated.
Every product I have invented has a great purpose behind it, helping my own little boy whom has sensory issues as well as severe food allergies, asthma, eczema, aspergers syndrome, ocd, just to mention a few, plus helping other parents. If someone had ask me a few years ago, if inventing products was a goal, I would of just fallen over because I had no prior experience or knew how to even use a sewing machine. I give thanks to God for my own personal talents using the sewing machine and for giving me the talent of inventing products that have helped my own son and so many other parents world wide.
Most, if not all my products carried through out my website I have invested to have them Patent Pending. Making sure that parents who visit or shop from my online store know they are receiving products that a great deal of time and money have gone in to, insuring quality and the use of each product is very important to me, being the mother of 5 children, and now 4 grand children, I would give nothing less.
Most of our products are manufactured using the following materials; 100% cotton, 100% certified organic cotton, 100% plastic with no chemicals, 100% rubber, 100% Premium Polyester Fiberfill and 100% soft fleece, 100% nickle, Upholstery thread, 100% elastic. We are proud to manufacture our products in the United States. No products we manufacture contain lead.
